Gorgeous granny smith and hints of citrus and pear - this Semillon from Red Mountain has substantial body with a decent smattering of acidity. There is an underlying creaminess - we think it's a little like apple pie a la mode!
Semillon is BACK at Barnard Griffin. We haven't bottled a single-varietal Semillon in 12 years - 2007 was our last vintage. This beautiful vintage is from Red Mountain - and we're sure you'll be happy to have it gracing the BG line up once more.
Semillon is notorious for being a wine that can pair with spice (think Indian or Thai) all the while accenting cinnamon and baking spices beautifully. What a perfect fall white!
